my ruffles scarf

my ruffles scarf,

Just to prove that I am really knitting. The color is a yummy brick red rescued from a sad Thrift store sweater. My husband just doesn't "get" that I spend time unraveling a "perfectly good" sweater just to spend more time knitting it into something else.
What's not to "get"?
